Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Pill Counter collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our medication counting application.
1. Medication Image Processing
Pill Counter processes your medication images to perform counting using AI models. Images are primarily processed locally on your device. For advanced AI features, images may be temporarily processed on our servers and are deleted immediately after analysis.
2. Data Storage
Your medication counting results and app preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not permanently store your medication images on our servers. Analysis history is saved locally and can be deleted through the app settings.
3. AI Model Improvement
With your consent, anonymized counting data (without medication images) may be used to improve our AI models. Personal information and medication details are never included in this process. You can opt-out of data sharing in app settings.
4. Analytics and Usage
We collect anonymous usage analytics to improve app performance and user experience. This includes feature usage patterns and error reports. No personal medication images or content are included in analytics.
5. Third-Party Services
Pill Counter may use third-party services for payment processing and analytics. These services have their own privacy policies and handle data according to their terms.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Medication images are transmitted securely when cloud processing is used. Local data is protected by your device's security features.
7. Healthcare Privacy
We understand the sensitive nature of medication information. All data processing follows healthcare privacy best practices. Your medication data is never shared with third parties without explicit consent.
8. Your Rights
You can delete your local data anytime through the app. For questions about data processing or to exercise your privacy rights, contact us through the app's support section.
